Retailers simply use their app to scan the customer's unique QR code, and then scan the QR code of the reusable container. This eliminates the need for disposable packaging and helps reduce waste.

About devolver
Mary and Allison came up with the idea for a reuse system at one of their children’s playdates. They thought there had to be a way to enjoy takeaway food without the waste, or having to remember to bring your own container.
They set out to develop a system whereby customers could borrow a container from their favourite café or restaurant and return it within a specified timeframe. And so devolver (Spanish for return, restore) was born.
