A movement and solution made by Mary and Allison, on a mission to help YOU reduce your single use plastic waste. And more so, to help you contribute in your own small but mighty way towards a more circular and sustainable society.
Our Story
Our journey began in 2021, when our founders, Mary and Allison, saw the impact of plastic waste on the world they were leaving for their children. They knew they had to do something to make a difference, and that's how devolver was born.
As they looked around their world, they realized that the biggest problem wasn't necessarily the packaging itself, but that in most cases, it was used just once. So regardless of whether it was made of recyclable or compostable material, if it wasn’t used multiple times, then it was a waste of resources and just not sustainable.
And so devolver's mission came to life - to normalise reuse in takeaway.

We are committed to creating a world where takeaway doesn't have to cost our planet and we are constantly working to improve and expand our services. We collaborate with local businesses, communities, and individuals to create positive change, and we are proud to be a part of the solution.
